Quille side table
Created in 1956, the Quille side table shows a playful facet of Jean Royère’s formal vocabulary, while rendering the form to its function. Inspired by bowling pins, the piece seems to precariously balance, evoking a touch of ambivalent humour, at once surreal and refined. The Quille side table exists in three different heights, each one is composed of a tapered solid oak leg resting directly on the floor, topped with spherical handles.
