Ondulation Armchair
Used on numerous models, undulating lines are one of Jean Royère’s key motifs. Here they quietly animate the backrests of the ondulation chairs. The complexity of this furniture lies in the craftsmanship of the woodwork, which defies technical boundaries. The absence of right-angles and the slightly conical stiles testify to outstanding assembly while maintaining a visual simplicity. Here the workmanship is self-effacing to the benefit of the chair, thereby favouring appearance and comfort.
