Forme Libre N.01
In the mid-1950s, Jean Royère was among the precursors who drew his inspiration from organic shapes. The Forme-Libre coffee table pursues a deconstruction of the line already initiated with the Flaque model. Its soft, undulating shape almost seems to float on its three cylindrical feet. The sinuous cut-out of the multi-lobed top in laminated solid wood covered in a thick oak veneer, which appears like a filet on the side, dividing the volume
and creating a pleasing proportion.
